The 57th edition of the Academy Country Music Awards (ACM) was presented on Monday night was live-streamed exclusively on Amazon Prime Video, for a select few countries, from Allegiant stadium in Las Vegas. Music legend and an icon of country music, Dolly Parton returned to hosting the event after she did so back in 2000, along with her co-hosts and former ACM award winners Gabby Barrett & Jimmie Allen, who took on the emcee duties throughout the event.

Best Dressed Celebrities At Academy Country Music Awards 

1. Kelsea Ballerini

One of the biggest and up and rising stars in the American Country Industry, Kelsea was seen looking stunning in a black dress accessorized with long black gloves. Kelsea was performing with the legendary Dolly Parton at the Academy Of Country Music Awards, these two ladies truly made the awards night memorable and truly mesmerizing with their performance.

2. Carrie Underwood

Country-pop legend Carrie was nominated for multiple awards for the night which included Entertainer Of The Year, Music Event Of The Year and also Single Of The Year. This Country Music A-Lister was wearing a shimmery sparkling dress, this short dress made the singer look absolutely gorgeous.

The dress was truly unique with its neckline which hugged her neck in a criss-cross style. She paired this look with an equally sparkling clutch and crystal heels which were clear. Carrie looked absolutely breathtaking in this classy ensemble.

3. Dolly Parton

Legendary singer Dolly Parton dazzled the red carpet with her sequined dress that was turning heads with its unmissable use of black tassels. Dolly looked absolutely stunning in this dress and of course, it made this ageless beauty shine more on the red carpet. The 76-year-old truly doesn’t look her age.

Dolly performed with Kelsea Ballerini, the country sensation of the new generation. The blend of both of these amazing singers made the night at the Academy of Country Music Awards absolutely wonderful.

4. Jason Aldean and Brittany Aldean

This husband and wife duo was seen rocking the carpet with their outfits and making everyone jealous with their sizzling chemistry. They truly are ‘couple goals’ of the Country Music Industry.

Brittany was seen wearing a short sparkly purple dress while Jason rocked a cowboy hat with a black shirt, jacket and pants. The couple looked dapper with their arms around each other.

5. Reyna Roberts

Who would say that this was Reyna’s debut at the Academy of Country Music Awards? Her outfit brought the much needed glimmer and glam to the red carpet. She was captured wearing a see-through black dress with blinding crystals, our country gal paired it with sparkly country boots.

An absolutely astounding debut by Reyna, the whole look was iconic and we will hope and pray for more looks by her at the ACM Awards in the future. 

6. Lauren Wolfe

Lauren was looking breathtaking in this asymmetric white dress which was paired with a feathery purse. She kept the look clean and minimal with her earrings and heels. This truly was an elegant look that got beautifully captured on the red carpet of the Academy of Country Music Awards.

7. Carly Pearce 

Every country music lovers’ new favorite crush, singer song-writer Carly Pearce was seen wearing a stunning lavender gown with a gorgeous slit that showcased her long legs. This gown accentuated her body type very well. Her makeup look and flowy hairstyle were flawless and her beautiful smile was of course her best accessory.

Carly deservedly won the Female Artist of the Year Award and she also won our hearts with her elegant outfit on the red carpet. 

8. Lady A

Lady A formerly known as Lady Antebellum trio were seen in contrasting looks. Hillary Scott was looking absolutely like a diva in her bright pink pant-suit set. While Charles Kelley was seen wearing a lavender silk shirt with patterned blue pants and Dave Haywood paired a red dapper jacket with black pants. Each of the members of the trio showcased their own individualistic styles.

Lady A was seen performing their song ‘What A Song Can Do’ at the Academy of Country Music Awards, this performance was highly awaited by their fans since this song is already a country radio hit.

Jimmie Allen and Gabby Barnett hit the party rolling with their performances as a tribute to the city the awards ceremony was taking place. While Allen opened with “Viva Las Vegas”, Barrett covered Faith Hill’s “Let’s Go To Vegas”. A perfect way to pay tributes to Sin city. 

Chris Stapleton performed “Watch You Burn” while Jason Aldean reflected on the tragedy of the Route 91 shooting in 2017, which served as the inspiration for Stapleton to write the song. Thomas Rhett and Breland performed the country-soul song “Praise the Lord”. 

Co-host Jimmie Allen took the stage again to pay an emotional tribute to his late father by performing his new single “Down Home”. Allen concluded his performance by expressing his gratitude to his late father and his mother who was present in the audience and was celebrating her birthday. The host of the night, Dolly Parton, was honored with Kelly Clarkson’s performance of the legend’s hit song, “I Will Always Love You.” The performance made Parton emotional and joined Kelly on stage after her tribute.

There was a lot more in store for the audiences at the venue and viewers at home when Dolly Parton was on stage, not hosting this time, but performing her song “Big Dreams and Faded Jeans” from her new album that will accompany her novel Run, Rose, Run. Parton was joined by Kelsea Ballerini. The duet by the two truly lit up the evening at Allegiant Stadium.

Carly Pearce and Ashley McBryde performed their single “Never Wanted To Be That Girl”, which was nominated for an award that evening. Their performance was heartfelt and touched many members of the audience. Luke Bryan and Jordan Davis performed their hit collab “Buy Dirt,” and left the audience wanting more with their performance.

“At the End of a Bar” was performed by Mitchell Tenpenny and Chris Young, the star of the night who had seven nominations under his belt. The performance was followed by Young’s solo of his single “Raised on Country”. The duo of Parmalee and Blanco Brown performed “Just The Way” with Brooke Eden.

Jason Aldean and Carrie Underwood won the evening with their performance of their single “If I Didn’t Love You.” Aldean sat at the grand piano and Underwood was lowered onto the stage as she sand her verses. The duo really hit it out of the park with their performance.

As the night came to a close, Brothers Osbourne and Brittany Spencer performed “These Boots Are Made for Walkin'”. The group surely saved the best performance for the last and ended the night strong.

57th Academy of Country Music Awards: Winners

Now let’s get to the most intriguing portion of the whole award ceremony, the grand reveal of the top winners at the prestigious Academy of Country Music Awards. This star-studded saw its brightest country talent in house performing, presenting and also rocking the red carpet. 

But at the end of the day, it is the winner who steals the show! Check out the official winner list of the 57th Academy of Country Music Awards.

The main award of the evening, Entertainer of the year, was won by Miranda Lambert. This was Lambert’s first time winning the award. The mainstay singer-songwriter also won the Video of the year award which took her total ACM award wins to 37, the highest by an individual artist in the history of ACM. Miranda Lambert also had 5 other nominations.

Carly Pearce won the Female Artist of the year award while Chris Stapleton was named the Male Artist of the year. While this was Pearce’s first win in this category Stapleton had won two awards in the previous editions of the event.

Lainey Wilson bagged two ACM awards as she won New Female Artist of the year and Song of the year for “Things A Man Ought To Know”. Parker McCollum won the award for New Male Artist of the year. Old Dominion was named Group of the Year, who are quite familiar with the category having won the award 5 times. Brothers Osbourne won their third Duo of the Year award on Monday night.

Jason Aldean and Carrie Underwood’s “If I didn’t love you” won the Single of the Year while Morgen Wallen’s “Dangerous: The Double Album” won Album of the Year. Carly Pearce’s name was again included in the award winner’s list as she and Ashley McByrde won music Event of the year for their hit song which the duo performed the same evening. “Never wanted to be that girl”. 

It was Lainey Wilson, Morgan Wallen, and Parker McCollum’s first wins at the ACM awards as all three artists won their first ACM awards in their respective categories.
