Microsoft, the tech giant, has launched Windows 11, which offers powerful new experiences for users whether they are working on school projects or collaborating on a presentation. Snap Layouts, Groups, and other Windows 11 features offer powerful ways to multitask and maximize screen real estate while keeping it visually clean.

Users will be able to create Desktops with different apps that allow them to stay focused and organized.
Windows 11’s new upgraded features:
The Taskbar will have more space between icons. The larger touch targets and subtle visual cues facilitate window resizing and moving, as well as gestures that allow users to customize the experience. Windows 11 now includes haptics, which allows users to feel and hear the vibrations while they click and edit and sketch. Surface Slim Pen 2 (sold separate) is an excellent example of haptics at work.

Windows 11 was developed with accessibility in mind. There are familiar assistive technologies that can be used by users with disabilities including Narrator and Magnifier as well as Closed Captions and Windows Speech Recognition. The Windows 10 operating system also offers enhanced support for touch typing and voice recognition.
Windows 11 Upgrade:
A variety of new exciting devices will be available with Windows 11 pre-loaded. Older devices with Windows 10 will also be available for the upgrade.

Windows 10 devices:
Windows 10 users can use the PC Health Check app to check if their device meets the minimum requirements to upgrade to Windows 11. The Windows Update settings can be used to check if Windows 11 is available for your device. If your device qualifies for the upgrade, you will see the option to download it and then select Install Windows 11.

Windows 11 is designed for gaming and includes innovative new features that will enhance a user’s gaming experience. An HDR-capable display PC will automatically update DirectX 11 and DirectX 12 games with Auto HDR. This allows for a wider range of colors, and brightness. Microsoft values player choice, so Windows 11 allows you to toggle Auto HDR on and off per-game.

The operating system will make it easier for developers to access the tools, frameworks and languages they love in order to create great apps. It will be open to all apps, and Microsoft will continue working with developers to make sure they feel at home on Windows.
Microsoft Endpoint Manager is available for phased deployments through the Volume Licensing Service Center (5VLSC), as is Windows Update for Business (WU2) and the Windows Server Update Services (WSUS). Windows 11 Enterprise and Education editions will be supported for 36 months on October 4, 2021. The original Windows 11 release is projected for second half of 2021. Version 21H2 is the release code.
